Parvati had done her best to get up without disturbing Sirius, taken a shower and gotten dressed. The day before, she'd sent an owl to Reggie to ask him to go furniture shopping with her again, this time for office furniture for the physical part of the club. Of course, only after she'd gotten his response did she realize he knew nothing at all about the Golden Apple. Oops. Well, she supposed he was about to find out.

Before she left, she paused in the bedroom doorway to look over her shoulder at Sirius. For just a brief second she considered going over to kiss him before she left, but decided in the end that it would just be too weird. Instead, she went to get what little she'd need for this, and then Apparated to the Wanting Place.

When she appeared, she grinned at Reggie. "Hello there, stranger!" Teasing as always. She wasn't exactly pretending nothing was wrong; Sirius had broken her of that. But what purpose in discussing things like that right now, when she was with Reggie, and had Apparated, and was perfectly safe?

Macnair had intercepted the owl. He was waiting for her, too, but she couldn't see him. He, honestly had a trouble seeing her for the first time. He didn't know much much Regulus Black knew, but Macnair wasn't stupid either. He couldn't show himself until it was time.

It wasn't time.

But the most important part, as he watched her appear in front of the damned Black brother -- Why were the Black brothers the bane of his existance here in Annwn? -- he felt an almost overwhelming urge to show himself.

But he stayed here he was. Hidden. Perfectly hidden. And no one could stop him.

Regulus grinned wide when he saw Parvati arrive. He hadn't seen her since he'd brought over Penelope, and had been worried about her ever since Sirius's owl had suddenly appeared at his window. It was reassuring to see her again, apparently unharmed.

"Well, hello there," he said, still smiling. He walked over to her and gave her a quick hug. "How've you been?" he asked, his tone normal even though the question was weightier than it usually was. Because Merlin knew that things had been serious for her as of late.

She hugged him back with a smile and a sigh. "I'm fine. I'm good. There are wards all over Sirius' house, no way the bastard's going to get in."

Not to mention, she and Sirius had been having a great deal of hot, kinky sex. Not that Reggie needed to know that, nor would he want to, she suspected. Just as Parvati hadn't really wanted to know Padma was shagging a Slytherin. Wasn't much she could say about it, it was Padma's life; didn't mean she had to like it or listen to stories, though. So she did Reggie the same service she'd want Padma to do her--as if Padma would talk to her about such private things, anyway--and didn't say anything about it.

"So how are the wedding plans going, hmm?" It was still strange to think of Reggie as engaged, but she was doing her best to be understanding.
