Charlie finished the shelf he had been sanding and put it aside with the others. He had wanted to make completely new shelves for the shop and since the old ones had been almost completely rotten, he thought it was a good thing. It was only by luck that he had learned a few things about making the simplest of furniture ( ... )

Su smiled politely at him. He looked good, not that that was any surprise. She glanced over his shoulder, as if he expected to see someone else there. And, in truth, she did.

Taking a deep breath, she decided it would be best to do this in private. At the most not with her standing outside on the side of the road with people walking by now and then. "Can I come in?" she inquired.

She wanted to reach up and grab him. To kiss him. To feel him again. Merlin! You are here to talk. Stay focused! she chided herself as she waited for his reply.

He cocked his head and nodded slowly. "Sure." Stepping to the side, Charlie allowed her to enter and he closed the door behind them. He looked at her questioningly. "How have you been?" She looked at bit peaked.

Charlie walked over and pushed some of the finished shelves away, trying not to feel awkward even though he had promised not to. But it was, it was awkward wanting to just throw her onto the floor and have a repeat performance of last time. But, he also wanted to just stay friends, with nothing more between them. He didn't want to lose a potential friend, just because he couldn't keep himself in check.

Su looked around the shop. It was cleaner than before that was for sure. He didn't want to look at him. She was afraid he'd see the lust in her eyes.

"Are you busy? It looks great. The shop I mean." And you. "If you're busy, though... I can leave and come back. Next time not unannounced."

She smiled, unsure what else to do.
