Giving myself options

I've put in an application to work as a Volunteer Coordinator for VSO. I don't know if they will accept me. If they do, I don't know when or where they would want me to go, although from what I've heard, it is quite a slow process and so it wouldn't be for quite a while. Better to have the option and not take it than vice versa. I looked at their website a couple of months ago myself.

6 months to 2 years, depending on the placement. It's scary, but I keep thinking maybe this is the last chance I'll get before I get old and settled.

It won't be the last chance - it's really up to you when you do them (my sister is heading off with a toddler to live on a boat in Malaysia!), but it's good to look.

Would you do it alone or get Jez to go with you?
