This is one of my rare public entries about Zeitgeist.

Zeitgeist, for those who don't know, is a live action rpg set in the old style World of Darkness - the one White Wolf nuked. It's run indepedently of the Cam UK by myself, pierot and portilis. We currently have a Sabbat, Cam-Anarch and a Mage game (run by jez), a Garou game (run by me) and a Mummy game (run ( Read more... )

Why, in the name of the Angry Space God are we attacking a power plant? I mean... infernal demons are people too! Really.... there they are, chanting away to their dark lord and someone jumps them. I thought this was a free country where there was freedom of religion.

I mean, how would you like it if angry quakers stabbed you in the head while you were praying??

How rude....

It's true. The Sabbat are being extremely unreasonable, I feel. You have a happy little group of cultists, sacrificing humans in private, bothering no one (except the humans they are sacrificing, suspect) and suddenly the Sabbat are jumping down their throats!

Although I'm having a whole weird brain melt moment at the thought of angry quakers stabbing anyone. I spent my teen years hanging out with those guys, and I can't see the stabbing. The relentless hugging until you lose the will to live, perhaps, but stabbing...not so much.

Well, really!

I mean, so the Infernalists are sacrificing humans to a higher (or lower) power.

Is that any different than a Blood feast held in Caine's name?

Quakers are violent.

See.. I would consider a mage game but not a WoD game... same for Sabbat to a degree.

seperate games in their own world an dcontinuity with no cross venue issues. Mage is exciting enpough for me without vampires as is sabbat without werewolves or mummies.

I think it's a whole personal preference thing. To be honest, I think it's possible to play mage without hitting the other venues massively, but I know I wouldn't be able to guarantee that.

I personally quite like the holistic element of ZG - there is a whole world out there, and it isn't artificially kept apart with big walls, but I can see where you're coming from.

Well, I am off to France soon as you may have heard.

I believe James has plans to head over to London on occasion and I will probably be popping over as well.

So, you may well get characters from me soonish. *grins*

Not sure what I am going to do yet, but keep your eyes peeled.

You weren't at the National! I am suffering from Mattmatt hug deprivation!

Bah!

It clashed with a game I actually wanted to play.

Well, you could always come and play...

Erm. You're in Nova Scotia, right? Might be a _bit_ of a commute for you :p
