I think fitness is going to kill me

I started a 5 day a week fitness regimen.  3 days a week I go to a personal trainer and 2 days I do circuit training with the NATO soldiers.  Today was week 4 day 2.  Results?  Well...none that are very visible.  I have not lost a single ounce of weight despite the fact that my appetite is now non-existent.  I think that is a reflex from training ( Read more... )

You are starting to get it kid. You can easily improve one area, but your entire body? Now that is something different. Ask yourself, "how many different muscles do I have? How many different muscle groups? How many different combinations of muscles and muscle groups am I working for the first time? Am I even working them well?"

10 minutes to 45 minutes is good. What's next?

I do a lot of lifting. I really have not seen any results from that, but I think that part is slow in coming. Today I did an exercise that was intended to isolate my chest muscles. Instead, I think it isolated for my why I cannot do many push-ups. My chest muscles are pathetically weak. I have very strong triceps (compared to my other muscles), but because they are small muscles, they give out quickly if they are not getting any help from my chest muscles...I assure you, they are getting no help from my chest muscles. *sigh*
