Usually outside has all kinds of nifty Easter eggs. Like, Saturday I got the neverending battle between mallhawk and blackbirds, and a couple of feral cats, and the usual bunnies and squirrels and those things that look like giant flying pornstaches. I do not approve of ants. Ants are my mortal enemies. Seriously. I am extremely allergic to ant bites, as in does anyone have an EpiPen handy. They say that places around the country - Texas in particular - are having more problems with ants this year. I know I've been poisoning a lot more ant bed this year. (Die, ants! Die!)

On the other hand, I'm extremely curious about your "giant flying pornstaches". What the heck are these?

Ooo. I've seen those things before. We have a lot of them around here. Several months ago, I was driving on the west side of town - one of those neighborhoods with lots of green space and homes that cost more than I will make in a lifetime - and there on the road were about 8 or 10 of them apparently chowing down on the day's buffet. They were big enough and feisty enough that they didn't give a damn about the cars on the road. I and the other drivers had to swerve into the other lane to avoid them.
