Dear Santa...
So, I've seen many people posting their own wish-list etc and have been meaning to do one myself and get to filling as many of my friends as I can.
Step One
Make an LJ post that contains your list of holiday wishes for things you truly want.
Step Two
Skim through LJ and see who posted their own wish lists. Then -- and this is the most important part -- if you find a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make that person's wish comes true.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf -- to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone else's holiday special too.
1 - ipod (used or new so long as it works *g*)
2 - pretty note cards that are blank on the inside
3 - icons that have my name on it that aren't specific to any particular fandom
4 - opera icons
5 - podfic recording for one of my fics
6 - paid LJ account time
7 - art for my fic
8 - the heater on my car fixed
9 - Merlin recs (Arther/Merlin and if one or both of the girls join in all the better)
10 - gift cards to Starbucks and/or target
11 - Kyle/Oliver icons
12 - Merlin icons
13 - sexy icons - boys together, girls together,
14 - sam/dean vid to the Barenaked Ladies song Call and Answer
15 - Go to one of the Live HD Met opera broadcasts. Find info about it here and then make a post telling me and everyone about the experience - what you liked, what you didn't, what you were surprised by - anything.
