I only can help you out with the Christmascard thingy...just leave me a PM with your adress :)
Awww If I´d have a baby, I´d raise it bilingually too..and your wish is soo cute! I don´t think we have english written children´s books here but I´ll keep my eyes open!
Oh..ask sweetgirl7808 if she´s having a pic of Winnie Pooh that she painted on her daughter´s wall a few years back..Sadly it isn´t there anymore..(yes, kids do grow out of those kind of things..LOL) I only drew a reverse painting on glass for a cousin of mine..it was Bambi with Klopfer - I´m so not good in painting! ;) Oh and I totally would have fairies and elves painted on the walls..God, I think I would need 10 nurseries to make everything come true..LOL
*lol* Yeah, unfortunately the nursery is tiny and four walls (well, minus the one with the door and the window because it's a pretty small room) don't offer enough place for every single Disney movie ever produced. I need to narrow it down, I guess. Plus, the ceiling already is booked with tiny twinkling stars *giggle*.
I'm afraid this room is going to be a desaster when I go on like that *lol*.
And I'd love to get a postcard from you. I'll send you the adress via PM. Thanks sooo much :-)
Please PM me your address hon and I will send you some English children's books.
Ryan's nursery had a jungle theme - we went for something neutral because we didn't know the gender until he was born. It's probably not everyone's taste but I think it looks fantastic when the nursery ceiling is painted to look like the sky (blue with lots of white clouds).
You could maybe use Disney transfers/stickers on the walls too - that way you will be able to remove them when the baby gets older and you want a change of design in the nursery.
Ryan quickly became fond of certain characters on children's tv shows and we had to redecorate his nusery to fit his new tastes. It's amazing how quickly babies grow into toddlers with their own ideas about what they want in their bedroom/nursery.
I was thinking about an underwater theme... I have a thing for Nemo *lol*. And I'm thinking about having the paintings on extra wallpaper so we don't don't have to paint everything over when we move out. Maybe, there's a way to design your own stickers? I need to research that, methinks. And I like the idea with the clouds on the ceiling *ponders*.
I'll send you my adress via pm. Just send me yours back so I can get you some Christmas decorations :-D.
