Just watched Tangled - five minutes ago, actually. I must say, Disney movies are not what they used to be when I was growing up, but this one comes pretty damn close. It's got a princess (a strong, smart and independent princess), a mean witch, adorable pets and a charming... thief. Yes, that was a nice twist.

I'm planning to, actually, doesn't sound like a BAD movie, but the whole thing just pissed me off.

I really feel like the only person who doesn't enjoy new animated movies, doesn't matter who the producer is. I saw "Tangled", "How to Train Your Dragon", "The Princess and The Frog", "Despicable Me", "Toy Story III" (never was a fan of this series), "Megamind"... and I wasn't able to enjoy most of them and they didn't do anything to me, really. I was mostly "okay" about them. I really can't fully enjoy new animated movies, I guess D:
The last animated movie I really, really liked was "Kung-Fu Panda", if I'm not mistaken. Now I'm waiting for the sequel.

it sucks they don't do hand-animation anymore, right? Not the good ones anyway.

Yeah, that's one thing (I'm huge fan of old, goo, 2D animated movies), but there are 3D movies I like, so it's not really anything against 3D, I think. It's probably more about the plot, characters or something, since I really wasn't able to enjoy any of the new animated movies I saw lately... I start to think that I'm over animated movies or something (not couting the ones I saw thousand of times and still love)...
