Title: The Hunt.
Description: PG/Gen. Young Sam and Dean are at Uncle Bobby’s. Wee!Sam (does eleven qualify as wee?) has to save Dean from some nasty critters but Dean doesn’t believe the creatures exist. (Not Wincest)

I'm honored that you read my gen. fic then. I have to admit I don't usually write gen either but I was in a peculiar writing mood and it just happened. Thanks for commenting :)

Having headlice when you're 'too old' to have headlice is so miserable. Poor Dean...and poor Bobby. You should do a sequal where they didn't get them all and john gets them because that could be hilarious.

Oh, John with head lice, that's an evil thought!It will probably stay that way since I was playing hooky from writing my BB fic (bad girl!) It is mortifying for poor teens who catch them but Dean doesn't have to worry any more. Thanks for reading and commenting.

I taught high school so didn't see as much of this particular beasty, but then I took over a preschool and had to learn all the things little Sammy found in his research.

Loved the way both Sam and Dean relaxed at Uncle Bobby's and how important those periods would have been for them. You're exactly right about John's approach. He would have grabbed the clippers and shaved them down to the scalp. Dean would have been humiliated.

Can't decide if my favorite part was Bobby scratching or Sam being so outraged at Dean's 'on the rag' comment.

oops. Almost missed this comment. They are horrid little beasties. I'm not sure what possessed me to write it but there must have been these ordinary little traumas as the boys grew up. Pre-school - you are a brave soul!
