So it was Jared in town? I would have thought he wouldn't want to be seen by anybody, human or were, if possible.
Poor hurting boy. I'm really glad Milo is against the tranq plan. Just hope they have time to build the trust Jared needs.

It was Jared in town. In my head cannon his hunger/cold was so desperate he could no longer resist asking for human help. This is a new, small place and he has good memories of his human life. However, their rebuttal must have been heartbreaking, confirming his own opinion of this self worth.
