That sunlit window is marvelous--no wonder the cats love it. A view you can love is precious--and a bird-ery is a terrific view as you watch baby birds grow, fledge, and take flight is a wonderful view to have. Plus, a sliver of seaview from the other window is precious indeed.
I'm feeling rather futless with the lack of SPN, too. I've lost none of the fondness, but the intensity isn't there anymore. I've been following my new interest in cdramas, but the recent policy crackdowns in that industry leave me feeling uncertain for that fandom too, now.
Yeah, I still haven't found another series I can lose myself in, though I really, really want to. That article about shows being written immaturely, that was shared, hit a note with me - everything I see does seem very 'childish' in a way. I accept that 'stiff upper lip' is not a good thing to show in every situation but it certainly applies in most leadership situations if you are going to get th job done properly and definitely seems to kick in, in emergencies with many people. It doesn't all have to be panic and drama with every situation. I want csome emotionally clever people and nuance in my viewing.
That photo of you and your friend!! I remember that look - it was Loopy Loo from Andy Pandy! And now I'm restraining myself from looking up how you spell her name since I dont' think I've ever had to write it down before... 😂
If I ever built a house, I would have skylights and window everywhere. I think people underestimate how good the sun is for you. Very positive and uplifting. We have a front porch and I have been spending MASSIVE amounts of time sitting out there these last few weeks. Just watching the dog walkers and the kids go back and forth to school and the delivery trucks zoom by. Neighbours stroll by and chat and I'm sitting there like one of your cats soaking up the sun : )
And yes, missing SPN too. Even bad SPN was better than no SPN. Such a force for good. Le sigh....
And you are too adorable in that school photo. I have a big smile on my face just looking at it. ♥
I renewed my subscription too. I sure miss the community that was here when we all first met. *sigh* The good old days.
I’ve been reading more fic recently though. I don’t have fervor for SPN that I once did, but I still love the boys. And fic is kind of like comfort food or a comfy old sweater.

We'll just see how things go.

I feel much the same about SPN, and although I love The Untamed, I haven’t been able to get into other cdramas I’ve checked out.
