I think a lot of the confusion is because the Beeb and even Billie herself had mentioned being in season three for at least part of it.

So I think a lot of people were expecting her to leave a few episodes into the next season.

Don't worry, a lot of people will be Barrowman stalking in a few weeks, so I'm sure we'll get some info out of him then. :)

I said that about Jack, hehe! :D *wants it*

But there is the Torchwood show that is coming up (though I don't know when) so I doubt that he'd come back for a whole season of DW. A girl can hope though!!!!

I flipped out mildly because I don't understand why the BBC decided to put the story up NOW. Billie hasn't been doing talk shows, I assume because the first question that Tennant always gets is "But, are you staying on for another series? You're not pulling a Nine are you?" And everyone has said "Rose's story is really the focus of this series" and RTD with his "You'll die in battle" and School Reunion with the "I can't spend the rest of my life with you". We get it. Why not just let it come to a logical conclusion? Why incite the scary Whovians before they've seen the episode?

I just hope she doesn't die. That might be asking a lot but in my head I've worked out a lovely situation that would actually make her want to stay in the Powell Estates with Jackie, but I won't say what it is in case others don't know what the finale's about.
