Hurricane warnings have been posted for parts of the west coast of Florida; Tropical Storm Alberto has maximum sustained winds of 70mph.Okay, first of all, WHOA, because when I fell asleep last night at 5:00, this fucker still had winds around 45mph, and it looked pretty poorly organized. This just goes to show you how little we really know about ( Read more... )

Wasn't the Satan Pit amazing? I almost shouted at the TV, "TELL HER YOU LOVE HER, FOOL!" but managed to restrain myself. Also, it gives you ideas :D Therefore is even more awesome.

I fucking LOVE that he wasn't able to tell her that he loves her. GAH. That just ... it's somehow so RIGHT. (Or, at least, it's totally right for what I'm writing. *g*) And then the urn-smashing and the embrace at the end and Rose refusing to leave the Doctor even though everyone told her he was dead ... GUH. So. Fucking. Good.

Yup. Pretty much in fangirl squee mode. ;)

Glad I could help re: Alberto. :) If it reaches hurricane status, it SHOULD be a minimal hurricane when it makes landfall, but it's a rainmaker, and the NHC mentions that even a minimal hurricane can cause significant storm surge, depending on when and where it hits. Definitely something to watch and be ready for, but your son should be all right as long as he keeps up with what's going on. :)

And I'm VERY pleased to know that there's yet another person falling in full-blown love with Doctor Who! GAH. It's just so good. And David Tennant flirts with fucking oxygen, so how can you not love that? He's such a whore. I love it. *g*

You should come to Atlanta, since we'll get the TD earlier! Yeah! That's a good reason, right?

Okay, so I'm at home alone with three kids and need someone of adult age (not temperment) to talk with for a while. Come on out! We can watch the storm together! Tell your Mom you need a couple of days to rescue a friend!
