OMG HELLO INTERNETS!!!

Yeah, I disappeared for two weeks. Again. But this time, I actually have good reason: my mom underwent surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome, and I had to be her hands for a while while she recovered. She's doing just fine, and her hand's healing well, and now she's back to work, so the weight off my shoulders is lessened.

GAH! I remember those Target ads! I have a friend who's totally obsessed with Hello Kitty, and when those ads came out, I think she had an aneurysm of joy. It was hilarious to watch her watch them. She had them MEMORIZED. It was adorable. ;)

Word is Chris' band got signed for a record so that broke the contract he had with AI and that's why he was voted off. Like, he knew about it and all. SUCKS.

I heard something about Chris joining Fuel, but I had no idea that there was controversy behind his leaving the show! GAH! This is what happens when you don't have net access -- you miss all the juicy behind-the-scenes Idol wank! I love this show. It seriously delivers the best drama. ;)

Well, you didn't hear this from me BUT, hahaha (I've always wanted to say that). Anyway, word is he's been getting several offers from different bands, not only Fuel (Creed rings a bell, me thinks). When I read about his band getting a record deal, though, wasn't Fuel, it was like Chris and the other Bald Guys. Or something. jk.

No doubt he's been getting offers -- he's got a great rock voice, and a lot of presence. Lord knows he's way better than Scott Stapp (HATE CREED HATE CREED OMG SO MUCH HATE).

I've missed POSTING! And I've really, really missed reading my friendslist every day. It's hard to devour all the posts on my Blackberry, sadly. At least it kept me connected to the news. Well, that and the fact that everyone in my family is TOTALLY addicted to CNN. ;)

I went to visit a friend once - in Charleston, SC! - and was away from my flist for six days. And while I had fun, it was just so WEIRD not reading my flist 300 times daily!

It was even worse in Mississippi, dude. That was TEH SUCK. Mostly because there was really nothing else to do in Mississippi other than pack, read, and chain-smoke. ;)
