I could never bring myself to root for Sasha, I don't know why but I just warm to her, even after her fabulous short. I have a complete soft spot for Kimmie, though.

But mostly you're right on the fact that almost everybody did the same program and it was tragic :(

No doubt about it that Arakawa deserved the gold, but I was rooting for Sasha Cohen since I watched her skate the other night. I was so sad when she fell (twice!) but then the rest of her program just blew me away. I love it when the skaters really dance to their music instead of it just being background noise, and that's what I thought she did.

I love how it took Arakawa a minute to truly realize that she had won it, and then her little group like...exploded. That was a good moment. :)

With the new scoring system, it's just going to get more bland. Ugh.
