Am rush-rush-rushing away to get my work done today so I can get out of here early this afternoon. Tomorrow, Mom and the brother and I are heading down to Florida to see my grandfather for the weekend. His health isn't very good, and so we want to visit him while we still have time. Heeeeeeee -- We'll TRY to enjoy our time with our grandfather. He's kind of the crotchety sort, always grumpy and down and depressed, so we'll try to cheer him up and keep him from destroying our self-esteem. I AM NOT FAT, GRAMPY. I JUST HAVE CURVES. AND I WILL NOT QUIT SMOKING UNTIL I AM READY! So there. ;)

I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle, darling. I'm glad we're going to be able to see him, too, because I want to have good memories of him before he goes, and because in spite of all his bitching, he's a really, really good man. After all, he bitched out Sekkrit Service agents for me. ;)

Ooooh! I know it's not a joyous journey, but I have to say being back in Florida (read: NO LONGER TRAPPED IN EFFING COLD MASSACHUSSETTES!) is fantastic. We welcome you to our fine state. If ya'll get tired and are near the Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island exits on I-95, just yell for me!
