I promise, I haven't been offline because of bad reasons. :)

I had my meeting with Father Z a couple of days ago, and it was absolutely wonderful. He's the kind of guy you can't help but love. I'm so glad you're feeling better. And decorating an apartment is so much fun. I enjoyed doing mine a couple years ago.

It really IS a whole bunch of fun. My wishlist at Target is GINORMOUS, mostly because I don't want to forget anything that caught my eye. ;)

I know, right? It's a shame I just can't buy into Christianity, but Father Z doesn't care about my ambiguous sense of spirituality anyway. He's AWESOME. *g*

See, I would totally do a quilt (because I LOVE quilts), but I can't sew worth a damn. Seriously. I totally suck at it, and I don't have the patience for it, so I just buy my quilts whenever I visit my aunt up in Amish country. ;)

Yay for fluffy redecorating! Your plan sounds a lot like my eventual decorating plan: reds, golds, and greens with mingled Victorian, African, and Asian influences. (Or, as I described it to my mom: "I want my house to look like the British Empire. ...Without malaria or self-righteous colonialism.") And Target = AWESOME. Just walking up and down the aisles of their housewares section is fun, fun, fun.

Also: I AM OBSESSED WITH JACK. WHY AM I WRITING JACKFIC DAMMIT? SOMEHOW I BLAME YOU.

For serious, I want to make out with Target. Their stuff is AWESOME. I'm doing my whole bathroom in Isaac Mizrahi's pop flower stuff, because it's bright and fun and PRETTY. And their prices? RAWK. ;)
