One of the few ways I can try and understand Veronica is to say that she just doesn't realize how much Logan loves her.
I've always thought that Veronica just doesn't trust in love anymore, since so many people who have told her they loved her have left(her father being the notable exception here.) After being burned so many times in the past, she just can't bring herself to completely give herself over to someone. She keeps Logan at arms length in an attempt to protect herself, even though I think it's clear he's already under her skin.
She definitely needs to work on believing in Logan, but I think this is something she can come to do in time.
In the final season, she just didn't seem to like what she did. I thought she certainly seemed confident (see: cocky) in her abilities, and she was willing to take a lot more risks, but sometimes she seemed downright unhappy and even trapped, and I think it's because she was doing it for all of the wrong reasons (and a lot of times, for the

I can believe that, but her ease with other boyfriends bothers me. I know a lot of people fanwank it that she's hardest on Logan because she loves him the most, so he has the most potential to hurt her, so that's what I choose to believe. It doesn't make it any easier to see some of the stuff on the screen, though.
I don't actually think it's all that dark, considering that VM is a noir show. I love the idea of Logan and Veronica fighting crime together and helping people. They both seem to be in a good place with themselves and with each other, so it fits.I don't think VM was that noir, especially after season two. RT liked to throw that term around a lot, but he glossed over a lot of things that would have made it fit the genre. My worry about the dark turn wasn't about them going off

I loved the line about going to visit Italian villas. There's no way Veronica would be able to rest knowing Seth was living it up, but the idea of her going after him at this point didn't make me worry for her future. With Logan there to be the voice of reason (!), I don't think V would charge in with her guns a-blazing. I think that they're going to track Seth down and stalk him, then anonymously send a big stack of evidence along with information about his whereabouts to someone in the FBI.

Ha, that's your ending and it's open enough that you can believe whatever you want, but my ending is a lot darker. Particularly for Seth.
Cause they're deleted, so I don't have them anymore. I didn't save anything, just hit the backspace button.
Didn't you say the last part of EHaO would be posted a week after TH?
Yeah, but I got a little distracted with playoff hockey. I'm gonna go over it one more time, I think, but it'll be up very, very soon. Probably Monday or Tuesday.

@#$@ LJ just ate my rather long comment...

Then they'll ride off into the sunset.

But they'll ride off into the sunset, regardless.

Love the noir feel of them going off together into the sunset and perhaps tracking down Seth to make him pay.
And why can't we read the deleted parts?
