Ohio's Senator Wade tried to persuade Abraham Lincoln that he needed to dismiss General Grant.  When Lincoln responded by saying he had a story that could explain the situation, Wade threw a fit and complained that Lincoln thought the answer to everything was to tell a story.  Wade went on to say that Lincoln was responsible for every military
