About the stabbing matter in middle school... things aren't always as they seem, I read a spoiler so I know what I'm talking about ;D And I still think that Izaya cares for Shinra and Shinra cares for Izaya but in their particular way ^_^
I just can join this: It seems Izaya feels really bitter/sad about how Shinra is looking at the world (in Izayas opinion).
It's way strange. Izaya hates Shizuo cause he never does what he expectet and because he can't look through him. But same goes for Shinra. At least, Izaya istn't really able to understand his way of thinking. But Izaya doesn't seems to hate him. He actually seems to like him (he loves all humans the same, but yeah).
Ah, I really wanna know how this stabbing was going on. And why and how they got along after it.
Besides, now I think about it: Izaya thinks Shinra's just friends whit him and Shizuo 'cause Celty "told him" "to get freinds". And the two of them were the only two it worked out. That Shinra hang up that easly when Izaya was in hospital must have been a confirmantion for him.
Whoa! That's a huge update:D Thank you so much Anni! But despite the fact how amazing this two parts are after reading them I feel sad and sorry for Izaya. He must be really lonely. Because from one side it must to be pretty hard itself to keep people “neither too close nor too distant”. Of course it is his choice but still and then Shinra appears. It is obvious that for Izaya Shinra is not on the same level as his beloved humans. He is higher. He is someone very special. Doesn't matter how much Izaya deny it. But Shinra doesn't see it plus everything what he do is dictated by ''What would Celty think about it...'' Only by that. Pretty frustrating beside Shnra and Celty truly love each other.''Freak'' and ''Monster'' connects feeling that he had never experienced or felt for anyone. Considering all of this he must feel really lonely. Lonely and jealous. Right now I want to hug him >.< Ok enough with this psychology:p Thank you Anni once again!:D
