Not to make this the legislative back-and-forth between Anne and KZ, but I'm getting the impression that few legislators are trying to fix problems. They're just trying to destroy the rival party.

"It's always been like that, KZ," some would say.

But it's not true. If you look at the number of filibusters, the number of party-line votes, the ratio of Congressional investigations to Congressional bills passed, the trend is clear: It is a football game, not a governing body.
