TV and Continued Fic Writing Fail

1. I need someone to tell my muse that writing sequels and alternate endings and faaaaar into the future fic is not really productive when the original, first fic is still not done. Not that she would listen anyway.

2. I am digging a lot of the new shows. On my watching list each week: Revenge, Prime Suspect, Person of Interest (last week's ep ( Read more... )

I know it's bad when Sanctuary is the last new thing on my DVR and I choose to put in my season 3 Leverage DVDs instead. :)

Season three of leverage? Not quite their best, I must say. But I am still digging it. :)

Yeah, Sanctuary is fading pretty fast. It's too bad, because I totally would watch The Five Show and because there are these moments of pure genius . . . that do not overcome the sloppy writing, the periodically miserable characterization, and the fact that we have to put up with Will Zimmerman. Hmph.

But Prime Suspect is awesome!

For so long I just thought it was me, that I was failing to be a serious enough fan to figure out canon and how all these things fit together and created continuity. And then I realized there was none. That was a disappointing moment.

As much as I loathe character bashing in any form, Will really does suck. :(

Prime Suspect! (Have we talked about how the main female character is in a (seemingly) functional relationship that is not the main focus of the show? And that there is not constant cliche "you work to much" "someone is cheating" "blah blah blah"? I say seemingly because it is still early and I am still feeling the burn from the trainwreck that Chase turned into halfway into the first season.

I love The Five and I hate Will Zimmerman. I haven't watched any of this year's show and not sure I need to as everyone is kind of eh.

As for Revenge, I am tired, half asleep, and stuffy. But I am going to stay up and watch this damn show *live*. Do you know how often I watch shows live? Never. But oh how I love this show.....

It's just such whiplash. Those tiny moments of brilliance, which I am not even sure are pure brilliance or if we are so good at seeing potential brilliance and following through on it ourselves. And then there is just dreck, dreck, dreck. Will really needs to run off and form his own Sanctuary somewhere else. Like...Antarctica or something.

Revenge! You were stronger than I. I couldn't stay up. But I am coming home from work early to watch it, you better believe it. I need a Revenge icon, but it's kind of a hard interest to search for. Lol.

Prime Suspect! I was like, whoa. I was wondering if anybody else was watching it.

So trilby? Or no trilby?

I'm really enjoying that show. But I have to admit I have no idea what you are talking about with the trilby. Heh. I still too much a casual watcher of the show I suppose. ;)
