I really wanted to like The Forest of Hands and Teeth a lot more than I did, too. I mean--ZOMBIES! Tough female protag! ZOMBIES! I found the world description awesome (although a bit boring after a few hundred miles of fence or so, but then it got interesting again), but... well, I think it would make a pretty decent horror movie.

On the other hand, The Hunger Games, which isn't about zombies but features an awesome female protag, might be more your speed character-wise.

Did you also notice the appalling over use of "suddenly"? I was thinking turning it into a drinking game might be the only way to get through it. Lol.

Ah, The Hunger Games, I shall have to check that out.

Yes, get caught up on BN! You are running out of time! :)

So did you like the first Burn Notice episode? I thought it was OK--I've gotten less interested in BN as the years have gone on. I did really like how (SPOILERS FOR ANY WHO HAVE NOT SEEN THE EP YET!!)

Maddie was finally given a pretty good explanation by Michael at the end of the episode and his emotional response to what Simon had said to him, and how she responded to that--Yes, Maddie!
