You know it's NaNo when...

It's November 3rd and Annerb scraps 4000 words to start all over again. This new idea is even better, really.  I have the character sheets and plot arc to prove it! ;) The wine helps.

I know I am in no position to bemoan this, but did anyone else notice not a single S/J fic in last week's sg1debrief? Seriously? Not a single one in a whole week? This ( Read more... )

sgu, nanomg!

Is anyone else completely surprised by how much they like Greer? He's quickly on his way to being my favorite and I thought he was a complete trainwreck in the first ep. Kudos to the actor. He may be the sanest one of the bunch. (Plus, FLAME THROWER!) And TJ really grew on me last week, being in command and all.Oh yes. Although Greer intrigued me from his first line "What the hell is this?" Just the delivery. I love him best when he's playing off this "anger" thing trope. But have loved his subtle performances especially in Light and Water ( ... )

id anyone else notice not a single S/J fic in last week's sg1debrief?Well, you could step into the breach and write some Sam/Jack. Would that be so very difficult, hmm? Yeah, yeah, NaNo. I am cheering you on and if scrapping 4,000 words is part of the process, well, scrap away! I have no doubt that the new iteration will be that much better. Still, perhaps you could find it in your heart to toss out some stupid!cute to the masses who are left suffering at the Pit, although there is a really good WIP over there that I'm enjoying, but I know how you feel about WIPs. ::mind strays to Devo ( ... )

I am liking it despite part of me watching and constantly going "oh that's ripped off (badly) from BSG" or "did that in SG-1 much much better". They definitely need some new storylines.

Rush I just strongly suspect is a psychopath and completely evil. Scott annoys me more and more, but my adoration of Colonel Young is growing daily. TJ was totally awesome last week.

Every week I'm getting more and more attached. I'm getting a little freaked that they haven't gotten an order yet for a new season yet.

Wait, I've generally just been very disinterested in SGU, but there's a FLAMETHROWER!!?!?!

Oh man. Can you imagine how gleeful parts of SG-1 would have been with a flamethrower?

*ahem*

And he MADE it. HIMSELF. And everyone sort of gave him this..."What?" And he just shrugs, like people should expect this stuff from him. Lol.

Oh, man.
Can you just imagine if he got to go on a mission with SG-1 and imagine Jack and Sam's faces? "Here, I made a flamethrower, would you like to borrow it?"

Oh John Sheppard. He'd LOVE it.

That does sound pretty hilarious.

Okay, This needs to be a fic. Because John would think it was the best thing ever. Also, probably Ronon would adopt him.

Yeah, I'm totally adoring Greer. Hating Scott with each episode. Meh.

But this week . . .JACK! I'm more excited about that than I should be, I think.

Missing your S/J stories. When is NaNo over again? *cries*
