This story is just amazing! This is a stupendous auction fic, even if it took two years to write!

Nice to wake up and find new chapters. I can't wait for the next twist to this evil plot! Now I'm going to need to check frequently for more updates.

Thank you and holdouttrout for sharing.

Thank you! I'm just happy to have it done so I don't have to feel guilty any more. (You did this for charity remember?!) lol.

Ooh, more tension and surprises! :) I love the way that Sam and Mal clash. :D

Yeah, I had a blast with Sam and Mal not exactly liking each other, which really, they have no reason to. Haven't learned to trust each other. Plus, Sam is a bit grumpy and has every right to be. Lol.

Thanks!

The Sam-Mal dynamic is without a doubt my favorite part of this story. Every chapter it just gets more and more fun.

Thank you! I think it's probably a bit of 'too many cooks in the kitchen' as they both think they know best. Heh. I think Sam has managed to completely erase the subordinate part of her brain. ;)

River appeared in the doorway then, her eyes following Sam as she departed. “She don’t know how to bend.”
Simon nodded. “Maybe she should learn.”
River’s head tilted to the side, her hand slipping into his. “She will. Everyone does.”
That was what he was afraid of.

LOVE IT!!!!!! :D
Gosh, there is just something so mysterious about this conversation, yet so telling, that it's just so amazing! :D
Thanks for updating so rapidly :)

Haha. I don't remember how much she paid either, but I do know that the whole process and lingering guilt makes me wary to do another one! Lol.
