Ohhhh Jayne, haven't you learned your lesson yet?? Loving this; the characterization and dialogue is spot on for the two different sets. You have Zoe down perfectly, and the mental tussle between Sam and Jack is spot on. Keep 'em coming!

Oh, thank you so much! I was so intimidated not only to try writing all of these new characters, but also the dialog and such are so stylized in the Firefly 'verse, it's hard to find a balance between getting the tone of the universe and creating incomprehensible prose that makes the reader's eyes bleed. Lol.

I feel like River would be internally laughing her ass off at Jayne's stupidity in the face of money yet again. That man has a serious selective long-term memory.

Oooo Ancients! They always manage to throw a wrench in things, regardless of the galaxy. How sweet of them.

Ah, Jayne, always looking for the lucrative way out. Though, to his credit, he isn't quite as hopeless as he seems. *squidges Jayne*

Yes, it's convenient of those Ancients to leave their things all over the place. Makes plotting much easier. Snerk.

Thank you!

Oh no- things are not looking up for our duo, are they? I am on the edge of my seat (literally), waiting for the next part!

Yes, things are a little twisty and dangerous, but they are more than used to that by this point. Poor stupid cute, I am so mean to them sometimes. It's their fault for being so kick ass and lovely when they are tested. :)

Thanks!

He's always good for trouble, and for saying what no one else wants to. :)

This is wonderful and I can't wait to see the rest! (And I really, really hope Daniel has Vala with him, or else he's going to be toast!)

Jayne, you should know better by now! {scolds} Whenever you try to make money off turning someone else in, you're just going to wind up with holes in your ornery hide!

Heh. At least Jayne's eye for the shiny keep him predictable. Though, in his defense, he's not quite as hopeless as he seems. ;)

Thanks!
