Fic: Down to the Bone (Sam/Jack)

Hallelujah. Fic. This one followed me home from work on Thursday. I have no idea where it came from. I think I can say with some certainty that this is the first fic I've written from start to finish in one day. Weird. BUT! Words! Yay!

Yay....you are back!!

I loved the story, especially Sam's realisation of what was missing in her relationship with Pete and then finding the courage to end it.

Thank you! Hopefully this is not just an anomaly. Now, back to WIPs. Lol.

Important things happen in threes. Sam can’t prove it with equations or measurements or facts, just knows it to be true.

I love the symmetry of this story. So lovely. And now you can say you wrote a "Threads" fic and everyone will leave you alone. LOL!

Haha. I was preparing myself to hear, "Nice, but, uh, shouldn't you be working on Wreckage/DC Series? Hmmmm?"

Thanks!

I didn't say it this time! I did nearly squee when I saw a new fic from you and wondered if it was part of either of those two fics . . .

Of course, we're impatiently waiting for more because they're so darn good!

- and wonders how long he’s been using that particular smile and why she never noticed before just how practiced it looks.

This is such a good line. And so, so true!

Aw, thanks! Yeah, when I set out to rewrite Threads, I was most surprised how little I changed the essential structure, just swapped the dialog. One would think I would gleefully keep Jacob alive, at the very least. But, it just kind of works, no matter how much I miss him!

It does the same thing to me! LOL! I may re-read the DC series tonight! :)
