Not much to say up-front. My lists this year are incomplete. Somewhere in the middle I stopped writing down the books I'd read and the movies I'd seen. These two lists are not in order either, but it's a good chunk of the truth

FMiR was really hard to get into. There were too many people and too many things happening. It was almost like Les Mis. I don't know my ancient history very well, so it took me until about half-way in to really get a grip on WTF was going on. After that, it was a dry read, but I know quite a few people out there would love it. Especially history buffs. I feel bad that I didn't like it more. :(
It took me a long time to read FOREVER too. Not in the right head space for it. However, I must say that m-stiefvater gets better with every book she writes. It's inspiring to say the least.
saffronlie rec'd WO. I can't believe I haven't read it before. It was a gorgeous read. Literary YA at its best. (It might not be shelved in YA, but it's YA!)

I still have The Scorpio Races and Forever to read; I wussed out of Forever because of circumstances and now I'm inching towards it...
