I'm so sorry :( Shame there's not a lot I can do from the UK. I will be rooting for any and all efforts to overturn this.

*sigh* Well there are rumors of voter fraud, but I'm kind of not sure if I believe them tbh? 'cause Bible belt over here etc.?

But I can hope.

*steals all the hugs*

Yeahhhhh still can't entirely believe that it actually passed. I can believe the gay marriage part passed, but this also affects so many other people, and just. I was hoping that would make a difference, knowing that it isn't just THEM QUEERS that it messes things up for.

*facepalm* Oh america. You are so full of fail. As much as I want things like this not to ever pass, I am somehow never surprised when they do. :(

Also, ha, I wouldn't really worry about people thinking all North Carolina...ians? wanted it to pass. Americans know that things can pass on a tiny tiny tiny amount of majority. Hell, after the Bush elections, America knows things can pass even if they don't win the majority. >.>

Carolinians.

/no but I mean. Like. People are talking like it's us as a whole. Which is un-okay. Like I know that technically it is us as a unit, in a way? But still no.

*sigh*

Ugh. Seriously, America? Y'know, you'd think that with it being the land of the free and equality and all that, there wouldn't even be a need to vote on these things.

Wanna know what's funny? My dad's from Alabama and my mom's from Virginia, so you were in my parent states. xD

Mobile for my dad, and Lynchburg and Richmond for my mom. Like. Mostly Lynchburg, but they spent a bit of time in Richmond. But yeah, her family's just boringly Virginia to the 1600s or something idek.

But my dad's side of the family is. Okay one half of it is from Atlanta, which is just fine. The other half is from the panhandle of Florida.

The really redneck part of the panhandle.

They kind of scare me a bit.
