That really sucks. :( Most little extra jobs are just a pain, so when you actually have something good it really sucks to lose it. Have some cyber hugs and cyber cookies.
Thanks. I'll be fine once I get used to it, you know? I just worked there for more than a year, and I had no idea this was coming, so it's just. Kind of a shock.
But I'm thinking of other vets in the area that I could try for, 'cause I do love being around the animals, and then of course there are other kinds of jobs, so I think it'll be okay.
D: That really sucks. Especially the no warning sort of thing! The one thing I like about my job almost all the time is the animals. Yeah, check out other vets - also check out boarding places!
*huuuuug* I'm sorry. Are there are any other vets around where you live? (And is there anyway you could see Sandy, at least once, without the whole work thing?)
*hug* Thanks. Yeah, there are actually a lot, so I'm fairly hopeful? I mean I don't have any training, but I can't imagine there's a vet out there that doesn't need somebody to clean up after surgery and mop the floor and whatnot, you know? And to be honest, I won't completely mind if I end up with a different type of job, because that might be interesting too. It's just that a vet or a kennel would be my first choice.
And I may be able to go in and see Sandy when my last paycheck comes, in like a week and a bit. I hope so. He's this adorable little graying red-furred old man poodle with squinty eyes. So cuuuuuuuuute!
*hug* Yeah. Well, in retrospect, I think one of the vet techs was trying to drop a hint? But I didn't get it at the time. And I mean I knew things weren't going well, and they had cut back on my hours a tiny bit... but no official warning, no. :/

I hope you'll find something equally nice soon. :)
