RP account here but what the heck! notshadowfever October 28 2011, 21:33:49 UTC
If you're going to be launched into the sun, doesn't cremation become sort of redundant?

Come to think of it, though, it is the likely outcome of a dragon battle.

See, I've actually thought about that, but I imagine it would take a bit of time to set up launching me into the sun, and it just seems icky if my corpse is hanging out rotting while they set everything up. Feels like less fuss if it's just a peanut butter jar of ashes sitting in the corner, and then they can take their time setting that rocket nonsense up properly.

There is only one way a dragon battle can end badly-- when the dragon dies.

Is it because it's harder to launch a dragon into the sun?

...OH MY GOD.

New must-die death: devoured by a dragon mid-battle, and then said dragon is launched into a black hole somewhere in deep space... AND COMES OUT INTO A SUN.

Thank you! :D

Seriously, though. >> I want to be a Star Trek subplot so much.

Ahhh I have not read all of it, but I've read a bit online... uh... somewhere. >> Did Cracked link to like an excerpt of it? Maybe? IDEK.

Also, that is AMAZING. FUCK. I kind of might have to add that to my list of acceptable burials.

My parents are no fun at all and just say things like "this is morbid!" and change the subject. They also seem to be operating under the assumption that they'll definitely outlive me, which I agree is the hope, but I really feel like they should understand in which direction to launch my remains just in case, you know?

But then they're all "THAT SOUNDS EXPENSIVE" and I'm like "THEN NEXT TIME DON'T RAISE ME ON STAR TREK".

My parents are little to no fun.

My brother is more fun, but any conversation he and I have inevitably derails into competing "your mom", "your face" and "your butt" jokes, so we rarely get very far.
