Mmmmm. I've been making those for Christmas for years now. :) My kids actually prefer them off the sticks.

www.bakerella.com - her cake pops are over the top, but you can lose hours looking at her ideas. She's got a book out, too.

PS - don't get the ones from Starbucks. The Rocky Road is the only one even worth trying, and even that one is kind of meh.

Oh yes, I tried one from Starbucks this past spring (after I saw this episode, actually), and it sucked. Lol. But this is one of the things I want to try this fall, after the two older ones are gone, and the weather gets better, and I have some time on my hands. We'll see if that happens!

I've never seen these until yesterday - and I almost never go to Starbucks and have never seen them the few times I've been to any local Starbucks. So maybe cake balls are more of a regional (south of the Mason/Dixon line) thing?

Anyway, we have kringle :)

I've seen this before on TV! OMG looks SOOO yummy!

I've also seen recipies on bakebakebake for making these, but I haven't pursued it yet. Maybe some day!
