Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce CYRUS, a 6-year-old red, longhaired miniature dachshund.

Cute boy, amirite? My first dog since I was 10 or 12. Really my kid's dog but I play with him too:)

He is...well, except for disliking other animals, especially rabbits (which, I just found out, is what dachshunds were original bred to hunt.... poor Fudge... gotta find her a new home ASAP:(

I'm not sure I've ever seen a long-haired dachshund--he's adorable! I'm glad that Swen has a buddy :)

Me too :) We think he is now getting a lot more exercise than with his previous owners (a young couple who both work outside the house).

Yay, cute doxie! ♥ I've had a a soft spot for the breed ever since the one my family had. Sweetest little dog.
