I haven't completely forgiven her from some of the stunts in the latter part of her campaign, but this went a long way towards rebuilding the respect I had for her. :)
"Were you in this campaign for me? Or for... [fill in the blank Joe Sixpack]?" PUMAS? Burned. :D
Frankly, I never understood how anyone who truly believed in the platforms Hillary ran on could believe McCain was a better option. If you genuinely think McCain's the better candidate, sure, go ahead... but not just to spite Obama. :P
I missed it, due to my lovely little ones having Dora the Explorer on constant repeat all night. Hillary gets on my nerves, truth be told, but it sounds like it was a great speech.
I missed it as I had to go to the drugstore - but I heard she really kicked ass (yes, I find myself interested in American politics). If only she could have not quite fallen so far from grace during her actual campaign, that this would have been more than a bit of a swan song.
I'd never pick a leader just because of sex or race, but I think she was the best chance to have an elected female head of a country in North America as there is going to be in the next forty years, and I'm sad she didn't get the chance as I would like to see that.
(Kim Campbell inheriting the prime minister role on a resignation doesn't count)

She was fantastic. Brought me to tears and caused goose bumps.
