Glad to hear you had a good, if busy, weekend. Sounds like DD is doing well. :)

Would love the recipe for your Chinese chicken salad, if you wouldn't mind... sounds very yummy.

Supposedly he's said his taste in music ends around the time he was shot down over Vietnam -- except that Dancing Queen is from about 1977. Whatevs.

Yeah, it was good. At least I am comfortable with these people. Unlike, say, the 100+ girls (women now) who attended our mumbledyeth HS reunion the same day in the New Orleans area. I didn't have either the money or enough interest to go; I hadn't talked to any of them in longer than I've known Mr. A...

Wow, that does sound like a busy weekend! My parents were in Joliet as well, moving my sister back to college. She loves it there. Glad to hear things ended up going well for everyone. :)

I'd like to second the request for that recipe. That sounds yummy!

What college is in Joliet? This was Braidwood, which is southwest of Joliet, off I-55. The only thing it's famous for is having a Con Ed nuclear reactor.

Will post the recipe soon:)

My youngest sister is at University of St. Francis, which is actually in Joliet. Then my other little sister is closer to us, at Milliken in Decatur. We trek up and down 55 a lot at this time of year!
