1. It was Farmer's Market Day in downtown State Capitalville. I got a lovely large bag of lettuce, 2 vine-ripened tomatoes (no pesticides), a ginormous chocolate chip cookie for DD, and a triple-chocolate brownie and a bag of freshly-popped popcorn for myself. How did it get to be August 6th so soon? Wasn't it just the beginning of June a few weeks ago?

I have the same feeling of amazement that it's the beginning of August, but that's mostly because summer only seemed to begin for those of us in the Pacific Northwest about three weeks ago.

Haha. It has been some time, hasn't it? Yes, well, summer has been about as well as can be expected, other than the Mariners sucking majorly. At least the long winter meant the reservoirs were all filled up.
