mjryan - have you seen these icons ? :D

Gaunts, H. Smith, Muggle prime minister cut from HBP. Well, hey, let's get rid of Tom Riddle's motivation. Hell, we all know he was just plain Born Evil. Gah... I'd be worried about this screen play if I actually cared :P

ETA 8:40 a.m. My mood theme's eyes are opening and closing in time to Santana's EVIL WAYS.

hp, actors

Yeah, he's infinitely watchable. He's also the "played by" for Percy in one of my RPGs. Too bad his player is hardly ever around *wibbles* Alas, I didn't see last night's ep and I haven't seen the show in many weeks. I sort of lost the thread a while back and haven't managed to pick it up again :( Waah.

Who needs all that intelligent stuff when we've got love, sex, and rock and roll?

Oh, God, it's going to be a crack-awful movie, where unread teenagers will squeal "OMG IT'S SOOOO GOOOOOOD!!! XOXOXOXOX!!! Ron and Hermione are SOOO ADORABLE N HARRY AND GINNY SO SEXAY!"

::barf::

I'm waiting for the total lack of chemistry between D/B and E/R...right...

I'm not so sure movie goers won't eat up the pairings, though. If the movie folks removed all the plot-important things, then I could only assume they'll be putting most of their efforts in those (god awful) romances. I honestly think the only ones who will be objecting to the chemistry are those like us who ship our ships because of the books.

On my part, I was fervently hoping I could ignore the romances with the HBP plot, but as expected, they're going to amp up those gross pairings. Blech.

More 'tell, not show', hey, following the expert's example? *sigh*

As everyone else has said, more time for the director's stated intent to push the puerile sexual hijinks (well, he didn't use the word 'puerile', that was my addition).

I'd be worried about this screen play if I actually cared

Yeah. It's sort of sad ... being wrapped up in this fandom I've attended the first days for the two previous films ... but not this one.
