1. Darling Daughter had Thursday and Friday off from school because of the statewide teachers' convention that happens this time every year. I worked on Thursday but took a vacation day yesterday and hung out with her. We tried to go to Panera Bread for lunch but the parking lot and the restaurant were full by 11:30 so we gave up and went across
