Yes, it was! We're sort of scattered all over (Louisiana, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Nebraska and North Carolina) so we aren't able to get together very often. I didn't spend nearly enough time with any of them but some time is better than none.

Well, midget commando, while you are off doing your thing I was in the middle of living the minivan dream. So no, you didn't miss anything. :-) Glad you had such an spectacular vacation. Time spent with friends is the best time spent of all. :-)

I'm not sure which was better, the friend-time or the family time. I'm pretty sure I'll see my family members again (crossing fingers) but I don't know if I'll ever see any of those friends again, so it was definitely worth the 8 hours of driving and 2 nights spent there.

I just got home from a long weekend myself. I spent yesterday in Louisville - I saw 'Order' on IMAX and then went to see Harry and the Potters and Draco and the Malfoys perform. It has definitely been a Potterfest kind of week for me. :D
