1. My work computer has been disinfected and seems to be working just fine. Naturally, after it got infected with the Troj/Small-EOG trojan, I saw this article, Web browsers are new frontline in internet war - I suspect this is how I picked up the virus on my work computer. So, gah, which website did I get it from and how many other computers is it ( Read more... )

He says that the features demonstrate an evolutionary "arms race" in which control over reproduction alternates between the sexes. If the male develops a longer, more elaborate phallus to force copulation, females wrest back control by developing features to thwart males who rape.

Those randy ducks :P Actually I heard on NPR or somewhere, just recently, that ducks are the only birds with an actual phallus. And some ducks, apparently, more than others. I shall avoid the obvious pun :P
