1. ElJay is pissing me off today. I'm getting a lot of database errors when I try to reply to people's posts, or even go behind LJ cuts. Grrrr. Seems like it's been wonky for a few days now. Or is it just me getting this crap?

2. Why yes, I'd like the piano-lacquer trim, thank you: Maybach 62 S: Exterior and interior - Luxury and dynamism in Read more... )

Well, no, but the likely bits of vegetable and fruit matter (and juice thereof--eating an apple core amid pine shavings leads to bits of apple-juice-soaked pine) hanging out in their bedding will--you have the change the bedding pretty often.

That's what my husband said to the kid: Change the litter a lot more often (like, every other day).

Yeah, maybe not necessarily that often, but it can't go like, many days.

By litter you mean shavings, yes?

SNOW?? LOL it's been in the mid to high 50s here for the past week. No, instead of snow we've had an air pollution health advisory because of all the crap in the air.

The link to that car arrived in my email box today because I get Google news alerts about anything to do with "air quality" and this puff piece talked about the air quality controls in the car.

Lucky you.

Well, it's 60 degrees here today, so I was just wishing someone I knew had snow. I thought the midwest got some. You know whay they say about New Englanders, anything west of NYC is considered the midwest... :P

I, on the other hand, had almost-snow this morning. 32 degrees even, so it was like, puffy rain.

1. nothing really weird on LJ for me, but I've jumped on and off, due to it being Monday and thus PHONE morning.

2. I didn't notice the $365,000 option, but yeah, would take that and buy my own editions. Probably a PoA.

3. Yes about the food scraps. Since our had an abundance of vitamin C stuff, it was often orange. Never really ad them where flies could get to them.

All poop is an attracter for flies though. I think I mentioned changing the urine soaked corners more often than the regular cage. It really halps.

How do you manage to keep cavy food away from flies? Put it in some kind of container that they can't get into?

We're telling M she has to clean the cage a lot more often.

I always forget that you guys probably have the normal sized cage. When we had ours, my dad got progressively more crazy about them, and the last cage was something like 3'x 4'. That's why we did the corners, tye were pretty good sized.

Dish wise, we used regular small plastci divided pet dishes. I never remember seing flies around the pellets, and other stuff, they generally gobbled down.

I don't miss cleaning that big cage, but I miss them. These days, with the kittens, my head somees over the litter box all the time. Busy kitties!

You want me to choose between $400,000 and a rare favorite book?!? Cruel, cruel woman.

(Maybe I'll take the money and buy the book...)

It might cost that much to buy a copy of that book, the first edition anyway. Nowadays you can't sell a copy of HBP; there are 80 gazillion in print.
