That really stinks about your stylist. Hopefully this new one works out...

Then there's me, who will go a year without having my hair cut.

If I went a year (from now) without getting my hair cut, it would be 6 inches longer and weigh about 10 pounds more :))

*Feels your pain* I just hate having to find new people to do stuff (mechanics, masseuses, hairdressers, manicurists, etc. Hopefully you can find out more on your Wednesday appointment about Tracie's whereabouts. I do remember this one great hairdresser I had who called me to tell me she was leaving her old salon & to give me her new contac info but then my appt was still two weeks away. Sadly she's since moved out of state, that was five years ago and I haven't found a replacement yet. For trims and such I usually just hit the Supercuts or Walmart nowadays cause it's what's close by. If I'm feeling luxourious I head over to the salon at the department store and just ask for one thier mid-level colorists/stylists. Hope things work out with the new girl and that your hair turns out nicely and just the way you want it!
Keep us posted!

Thanks, D. I'm not vain about much (I don't have much to be vain about), but I AM vain about my hair. It took me ages to find someone I could trust with my hair at its current length. Now if I can't find where Tracie has gone to, I might end up at Cost Cutters (though I'm always worried that "off-price" hair chains might butcher my hair :(

I'm just fine! Sorry I didn't let you know earlier...our internet was broken for the last 1 1/2 days due to a stupid husband error. What was the dream?

Oh it was a terrible dream, honey. Lots of woe involving lung cancer :( Thank goodness it's not true.

I think it's sweet that you mention #2. If you know her more than just from LJ, that explains it, but if not that's really cool. I have dreams and nightmares about LJ people all the time and rarely tell them. For some reason they think I'm stalking them or something... which I'm not!

I know her basically from LJ. I rarely dream about LJ people, and this was a scary dream. I was glad to find out she was okay.
