You are very, very consistent with Anne and that works very well for me. I'll confess: I never read the books so I'm completely useless about your canon, but I think as far as Wes works, people with high principles are often swept off their feet when they least expect it, and that works very well with camp being, well, camp. I get Anne as very resiliant and idealistic, but not so idealistic as to be completely destroyed when things start going wrong, and I like that about her.
Sanzo, however, will never forget Anne called him an 'angry child.' XD
My canon is amazingly simple: "Oh, I am spirited orphan girl! Watch my wacky antics, peons!" And I'm hoping nothing's going to destroy her, but hey, here, who knows?
You know, this almost made me want to dig out my Anne of Green Gables books. I applaud you for your characterization, though. Anne is one of those characters who I would have sworn would be impossible to play, until you came in and started playing her. Can't judge how canonical you have her, since it's probably been a decade since I read the books last. But I'm still impressed.
I definitely relistened to the books on tape as soon as I got in XD And honestly, the best compliment I can get for Anne is desire to know the beauty and sap of the canon. Or refresh it, because not everyone compulsively reads those books when they feel sad like I do. Thanks!
I'm usually talking to you next to playing and you let run the "would anne really do that" program through every time you do something and keep yourself constantly aware of her character. So, great job and I'm having a blast playing with you.
I think the main problem with Anne is that there is almost nothing for "how would Anne react to this in canon?" because her canon is nothing like camp. And you know I love it too XD
I'm trying to go through and respond to all the feedbacks entries so that's why this comment is so late. Furthermore, I do not care much for anonymity so that's why I'm not anonymous.
You've got a great Anne voice. Seriously, kudos on that. I personally don't think I could do an Anne voice to save my soul. You're also quite consistent in your characterization of her; she's one the sweeter people in the camp. We need more of that to balance the emo and bastardness.
Sometimes I think Anne is too accepting of all the various weirdness in the camp but upon further thought, I think you are correct. Anne is, in general, an accepting person when she is not trying to better someone for their own good or on one of her crusades. She loves having bosom friends and all so yeah.
I love the Anne/Wes thing and I still think the Anne and Cal relationship is odd as hell. I wish I had criticism but I'm not much of a critical person towards others. Take what I say with a grain of salt and all!
