Supernatural around the world - Woman in white
This is my entry for the "Supernatural around the world" challenge where SPN fans from all around the world got the chance to send Sam & Dean travelling to their own home countries or countries they like and want to to introduce.
In my case they went to Germany or more precisely Bavaria because that´s where I´m from :)
When I was "brain storming" for German legends and ghost stories the only one I could think of (myself...without google^^) was the tale of the woman in white that I had actually heard of long before I watched the pilot of Supernatural ;)
When I was a kid I visited the Plassenburg at Kulmbach (in Bavaria) and the guide told us this story about the countess Kunigunde who murdered her own children (due to a misunderstanding) and has been haunting the castle ever since... which impressed me immensely ;)
This story is said to be the origin of the woman in white legend... and since the Winchesters have already encountered a more modern version of the woman in white I thought it would be cool for them to meet a "real" medieval ghost (from the 14th century) - something they don´t have in the United States ;)
To be honest I haven´t really thought about when, how and why they got there... let´s just call it artistic freedom ;)
The picture turned out rather humorous and less spooky, but I guess this would be one of the funnier episodes - so it´s okay ;)
