Nope, you´re not just projecting ;) Maybe I am... subconsciously ;P As usual there is no exact, detailed back-story for this but I imagined that Dean was already sick and feverish before going out in the cold to free the Impala from snow and ice. I´m glad his expression etc works and he comes across as miserable as I had intended him to. Yay! :) Aaand I love your idea with the hot water bottles! ... although I somehow doubt they have hot water bottles ;)
Sorry for the suuuper late reply XD I´m going through some older lj messages I let lie around and I just wanted to tell you totally convinced about the hot water bottles. Winchesters + hot water bottles is now part of my headcanon ;)
Wow, what an amazing piece! I really love the so very atmospheric colors, they make me think of the first seasons, the camera filters they used gave a similar color-drained effect. I absolutely love it! The ubiquitous snow and the boys' faces are wonderful, but I think what I love most about it is the Impala. Poor baby, all covered with snow!
