Most indulgent weekend ever. And it's not technically over yet either. Salmon with Anna P on Thursday night for dinner, then came up here to Mum and Dad's on Friday and had salmon again, freaking Oakbank on Saturday which is full-on from breakfast* at arse-am through lunch** and finally to the cheese platter around the time of the last race, Easter ( Read more... )

Fooooood! Love me the Easter foods ;D We piroshki'd and barbequed it up this year. I only ate half as much chocolate as usual, though, which was disappointing. Must try harder.

Anti-yay for setup chapters - they are the bland filler salad upon the delicious meaty plate of writing (but still better than the plate-washing of editing :X)

I can clearly hear the guy next door screaming at the telly right now, hee hee ...

Lamb has somehow become a family tradition for Easter, I suspect because my Grandpa was a sheep farmer and it was just convenient. That and goose, tho we seem to have missed that this year. I feel the ganache from dessert yesterday pretty much served my chocolate needs for the weekend. I won't say no to more, tho X)

Washing up sucks in any analogy. A page into testing this chapter with Nol's voice and I think I'm just indulging in Nol-writing. This isn't really accomplishing anything. AND YET I WRITE IT ANYWAY HAHAHA~

(Also, man, I can't wait to play Melbourne. Sounds like fun.)

I would have shown up for all four fillets, kk.

Went to the discount section and the lamb was still like ... £5 on discount for piddly little bits :/
