I just want to breathe warm air again, is that so much to ask?

I find it interesting how Poms always justify why 30 degrees is a scorcher. It's a different kind of heat, they say, it's muggy and we're not used to hot and we have no air conditioning because this never happens and people DIE from this heat ( Read more... )

I don't know if its because I'm used to it, but I prefer the cold. Weather-wise. because you can snuggle up in the blankets and the warm clothes, and the cool air biting your face is energising.

BUT because of my sticky blood, I do get cold a lot more easily and my hands and feet are usually blocks of ice, so idk.

Until you have to get out of the blankets and get into cold clothes and wander around a cold house because you haven't had the heater on overnight, then go out into a cold morning to get into a cold car with a cold steering wheel and drive to a cold office because you're one of the first to get in in the morning and the aircon hasn't warmed up yet... I'm so over winter :<

This weekend we're supposed to be soaring to the dizzying heights of 18 degrees, but given that it's supposed to rain the same day I'm dubious. I just want warm air to breathe D: I feel like with warm air I could properly kick this halfarsed cold that's been lingering for like a week now. If it's still here next Saturday when I'm flying to Sydney I'll be Peeved.
