Ooooooh, shoes! I am also a shoe-aholic and it is genetic because my mother was the same way. I live in a hot-humid-swamp so I am a sandal girl. You made me curious, so I went and counted. There are 46 pairs of shoes in my closet. I didn't pull out the two containers under the bed but there are probably about two dozen more there. (Boots and heavier clunkier things). I really do think it's a gene. I've never known anyone to just wake up one day and decide they love shoes. You're either born with it or you're not. All I know is that nothing makes me happier than to walk into Dillard's shoe dept and see the racks up. I know that means 75% off. Orgasmic. Really.
