Is distractible a word? Shouldn't it be distractable? It made me think of "mandible."

Otherwise, wow. There was an awful lot in here to like, a nice sure style, lots of little details that made Hannah's voice seem real ("the thing about Monkey...," ) and the places she stops at seem important (that we don't know how she reacted after Elijah pushed her out of the booth, for example).

Very well done. I'll be thinking about this Hannah for awhile.

You know, I thought it was "distractable" as well, but Microsoft Word's spellcheck says it's with an 'i'. Go figure.

OK. I really truly do love you a lot. And I really really don't deserve you. But I'm awfully glad you seem to think I do.

I'm flailing trying to think of something coherent to say about this. It's sweet and a bit sticky and sharp like licking icing off tinfoil and accidentally biting down.

I love "Not everything is about my brother" and how much Hannah and Billy would both so desperately like that to be true. And I love the title and I love the mention of Zack and I told you already I love Hannah stepping on Billy's foot.

And the title is so perfect. And. And.

I love Hannah's inner monologue here. Just awesome. That bit about fighting over the remote control and then laughing over Behind the music? So, so true. And I love that Hannah kind of starts things just to get at Elijah, but the magical power of Billy draws her in.

I'm not making much sense. This was great. You are great. Cookies for all!

Hannah catches Billy watching her from across the table. He doesn't look away when she sees him, just stares at her steadily.

She feels very young.

Billy's mouth is maybe the prettiest thing she's ever seen.
